Churches of Budapest

Hungary was a pagan country until the 11th century, when our first King Saint Stephen converted the Hungarians to Christianity. Hungary remained predominantly Catholic until the 16th century, when the Reformation got a foothold in the country. Today the Reformed Church is the second-largest denomination in Hungary. On this tour you will see a couple of impressive churches in different styles belonging to different denominations. We will finish the tour at the Buda Castle District where my favorite church, the Matthias Church is situated.

This is just an overview, I plan and implement every tour based on individual needs and requests.
