Lake Balaton Tour

If you visit Hungary make sure that you include Tihany as well. As Budapest is the Pearl of the Danube, Tihany is the Pearl of Lake Balaton. Lake Balaton, the largest fresh water lake in Central Europe, was formed by tectonic sagging around 25.000 years ago. The ancient village of Tihany was founded in the Middle Ages when King Andrew I. founded a burial-place here for the royal family in 1055 and built a monastery, where Benedictine monks were settled. From Tihany you can have a panoramic view on the whole lake and the atmosphere of the city is fascinating. It is one of my favorite cities in Hungary, so I will definitely take you to some special places. Without a Lake Balaton Tour you won’t understand why do the Hungarian say that this is the Hungarian sea.

This is just an overview, I plan and implement every tour based on individual needs and requests.
